Little India is an ethnic neighborhood that lies east of the Singapore River. Sri Veeramakaliammann and Veerama Perumal Temples are some of the oldest in Singapore built by immigrant Tamil workers.
The temples reflects the deep faith Tamil Hindus have in their religion.
